The VDL-18 is a vertical bandsaw for both wood and metal, using separate low- and high-speed ranges. Its 18-inch throat and 16-inch work-height capacity pair with a tilting 20-by-26-inch table. Ceramic guides, a quick-release blade-tension mechanism and an aluminum fence provide adjustments for differing material and cutting setups.
